JaTavion Sanders hauls in a pass

Ja’Tavion Sanders is that Freak

Ja’Tavion Sanders is a superstar

Standing at 6-foot-four, weighing in at 220 pounds, Ja’Tavion Sanders dominated opponents on both sides of the ball and is already one giant of a football player. After a massively high school career, Ja`Tavion signed on the dotted line in December of 2020 to play football at the college level with the University of Texas.

Ja’Tavion made his name as a two-way player for Denton Ryan high School and has excelled at both offensive and defensive sides of the ball. He caught 63 passes his senior season with 16 of those passes being touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, Ja`Tavion recorded 20 tackles for loss and this included 11 sacks during his junior season. Ja`Tavion also piled 24 quarterback pressures and two forced fumbles during that season.

As you can see in the video above, Ja`Tavion is an absolute beast on the field! You really don’t even need a highlighter to point out where Ja`Tavion is on the field. He stands out as a man among boys. Ja`Tavion is the player, that on either side of the ball, will demand special attention and has to be accounted for at all times because of his ability to wreak havoc on any given play.

The question is where does Ja`Tavion line up at the next level. Most experts feel that at this point he is best suited to play at the tight end position. And just looking at his body type, you can really see that. Imagine yourself as a defensive back trying to stop a mammoth of a man running downfield looking either to run over you or to block you out of the play.

On the defensive side of the ball, Ja’Tavion is still somewhat raw. However, with proper coaching, Ja’Tavion has the ability to be an elite player at the next level and beyond.

247 Sports has Ja’Tavion rated as a 5 star prospect coming out of high school and this rating appears to be very deserving. Ja’ Tavion, as much as a superior player as he is, sttill has plenty of room to grow as a football player.

The Texas Longhorns are getting one heck of a player in Ja`Tavion Sanders. As good of a player Ja`Tavion is, he is an even better human being off the field.

New head coach of the Longhorns, Steve Sarkisian, specializes in maximizing the abilities of two-way players and gets the best out of them. I trust that Sarkisian will do the same for Ja`Tavion once he steps on the 40-acres during the summer of 2021.

It will be interseting to revisit this article several years from now to see just how things pan out with Ja’Tavion. But if I were a betting man . I would put all my chips on Ja’Tavion being one of the best Longhorn players in the history of the program.
